I just discovered that I have the 2002 re-release of The Ataris’ …Anywhere But Here because “Anderson” was left off the original 1997 version. I also discovered this video of Kris Roe singing it + “Hey Kid” mashed up with some excellent 90’s alt rock songs and Miley Cyrus.
And while I’m talking about Kris Roe, lemme just say that him saying goodnight to me, Danielle and Emily was the greatest moment of 2005 for me. Also I think he might have played this, which is probably one of my favorite Ataris songs.
